Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) was designed in the 1970's, but never built. Imagine a system where the public vehicles run whenever and wherever you want. Imagine a single occupancy vehicle that drives itself directly from your home to workplace. Imagine a system that costs less than mass transit and requires less space, but moves more people just as fast. Imagine all this happening with no fossil fuel, no pollution and no greenhouse gases.
